Sorry i was lazy in posting this here. I went to the meet in the OC in front of Shabu Shabu and there was some interest in these so i thought id post it here. I pretty much followed this writeup:

I went to the local pick your parts on a day there was a half off sale and bought a set of Mitsubishi Eclipse headlights for $20. If I remember right this is the same thing as an Eagle Talon but just badged differently. I pretty much followed this guy�s write up so I won�t go into detail about the parts he wrote about. The first place I differ is I had trouble bending metal to make the part of the linkage that mounts to the motor. To solve this I drilled out the welds on a piece of the Mitsubishi assembly and used that. After I built it and went for a drive I found that bumps turned my lights into strobe lights. To fix this I added some rubber stops and it seems to be ok. After that I decided that I wanted to have some trim around the lights so I cut up the stock Mitsubishi trim then added sides to it made out of sheet plastic. In the end this seems to be a success because the lights pop up less and amazingly enough they�re way brighter than the stock lights.

Also forgive the ride height. Itl be fixed soon with a set of tein flex. I havent had time to put em in yet.

Not really, the catch can "catches" oil and random crap before it gets to your intake, thus keeping the intake manifold cleaner.

It doesnt replace the PCV, it just acts as a sort of filter between it and the manifold.

Also, under hard cornering, oil can pass trough the PCV to your intake and end up on the wrong side of the piston resulting in a whole lot of smoke and sometimes a blown engine if enough oil gets burned. Ive personally seen this at an Auto X on a sunfire.

So the oil catch can catches the oil before it can get burned. Thats why it has the drain on the bottom.

Im 99% sure.....anyone please correct me if im wrong

a header is only one piece of a puzzle and by itself will not provide a substantial increase in hp. You need to compliment the header with a high flow cat and free-er flowing cat-back system... then a better intake,,, then... the list goes on as the money fly out of your bank account

I wish I could have bought your 8s but these 7s were cheap enough. I originally wanted an anthricite center but thought the hyper black would be as dark when i wanted it to be and lighter in the day

I had a hyper black set on my Miata. They were 15x8 +35. They looked good, but after a while, I started not liking the darker spokes with a polished lip. Sometimes it would be too dark & sometimes it would not. It would depend on the lighting.

Hey I'm wondering what the benefits of adding a header are vs. other modifications for power. I am debating getting a header for my 1.6, but my years of self-manifested wisdom are telling me that there's probably something around the same price range that might provide more performance and power. So, it is with that question that I come here and ask you; the wise, the powerful wizards of oz.
