Hello all, I am new here, been lurking for some time(and looking for a miata too). Didn't know what to post/reply to since i didn't even have a miata

(still don't right now)
I have found a 91 BRG LE miata; and I have always loved BRG, it has 142k miles, machanically all things work and sound good. So i went to see the car. The paint is in pretty good shape, but there are a few things thats bugging me. The rear lisence plate panel is cracked and looks like someone hit it with a baseball bat. The front right fender has a lil ding. The soft top definitely needs replacing (its cut and the owner used some things to glue it up, not to mention the rear window...). On the right window, there is a plastic thing hanging around, looked like its supposed to be sticking to the window where it will prevent water leakage...( i am not sure on this, even tho the owner said no leak on the soft top/window). The interior is a bit messy, the leather seats are ripped, the dash is ok, all gauges work.
Other then those, I think the car is not bad, the owner told me the time belt was changed at around 100k. I haven't owned a stick shift before, but the car seemed and sounded fine when the owner drove it. A new cat was installed like a month ago too. Is there anything i need to look out?
I talked the price down to $2300, u guys think it is worth it? Sorry for the long post, i would really use some advise from you expert
Heres the pic, but i think its really hard to see the ding and dent... Again, thanks a ton guys.
