Just Bought A Na Miata...

just bought a miata from my buddy Cxmoney over the weekend. saw him driving it around base quite frequently, and being the only miata within a reasonable distance from 29, i decided to try to get it off of him, to which i did. and i must say, im pretty satisfied with it. only has 83k miles. pretty low for a 97. Now, let the mods begin! =)

over the weekend i got the fenders rolled, and some new XXR 002 in silver installed, sold the drag rims, and managed to swing by GoMiata and snagged some Megan Racing EZs. next saturday i will be installing the EZs as well as getting a new top installed onto the car. i also added a muffler i had laying around for some kind of sound, not too high pitched nor rice sounding. so im pretty satisfied. itll do till i swap a 5.0 into it from a fox i have at home. here are some pictures i took after the wheels were installed. next saturday ill throw some pictures of it with the megans installed.

Now im just waiting on the registration so i can drive legally. Luckily for me im from georgia, and in the county where my house of record is, is a non emission county. =). So i can practically do whatever i want to the car. I know i am going to 5.0 swap it, i just cant decide whether to efi or carb it. Hmmm...

I've seen this miata before but with a hard top, I think its a member on here. Good luck with the new car!

I love lookin' at a black NA. coils & a hard top should be long term goals with this thing. it's just TOO nice not to. care to share your personal plans with it?

future plans is a 5.0 swap for sure. saving up to buy a 5.0 stang right now. this weekend i will be thowing a new softtop with glass on it. eventually i am going to get a roll bar, either the hard dog hard core or the hard dog m2 sport. i am considering some blister fenders from autokonexion and the 40mm rear panels. the cars color scheme with be black and green. ect ect ect. more things to come once money produces. =)

i am from villa rica, ga. bout an hour west of atlanta. right now i am in the marines stationed in twentynine palms, but will be leavign soon to my permanent duty station.

I was thinking a gv lip. If gomiata is open when i pass by them on monday to get my soft top replaced, ill pick one up.
