Scott - 1990 Miata - Minnesota

Hi there,

Name is Scott and live in Burnsville, MN.

I'll get better pictures once the weather improves, for now, two of these are from the previous owner and the other is a bad cell pic in my parking garage.

Spec: 1990 Miata, 84k, Was an Arizona car until 2 years ago when the Previous owner purchased it for him and his wife to drive around the lake. They put 2k miles on it and a bunch of service. Bought it for 2850 in Iowa and drove it up here Friday. Freaking LOVE this car.

Really looking forward to Auto-X Season!

Only issues I've noticed are the 65mph shimmy/shake that seems to be common with Miata's with unbalances tires (or whatever the issues really is) and after the car is warm it has an erratic idle (iscv dirty i'm guessing or vacuum leak)

Where do you plan to go as far as mods?

Going for Coilovers and Chassis Mods first to tighten it up, Lookin to get a Hard dog rollbar (haven't settled on one yet) and maybe some RPF1's or 6UL's.. Just want something light. Staying N/A as long as I can get away with it to avoid my fiance killing me.

First things first is to fix this damn shaking.

Congrats man! Clean looking car, glad to hear your looking at autocrossing it. We have a really great autocross club here. The name is MAC, www.mnautox.com. There are several members here in the club. Hope to see it out this summer!

One of my very good friends is Shane86 over there, I'll be out at a few MAC events for sure.
