Yeah... about 75% of the Honda owners, ruin it for the rest of us.

I've got a 4th gen Lude, so, don't worry, I get Honda hate too. Even from Honda kids, since the Lude is the blacksheep and deemed "useless" lol.

The infamous Sexblocker made it useless... Plus at the time when I was driving mine the darn radio didn't work!

The GTX sold in the US was a 1.6 b6t. That was the BF platform, 88-89. The later GTX/GTR wasn't sold here in the states. That was the BG platform with the bpt. Yeah, I had an '88 GTX. Loved it. Rallycrossed it, DD it, used it as a winter car. It was a lot of fun.

My favorite car from before I could even drive and even to this day is the Mazda 323 GTX. (I bet more than half of the people who own Miata's don't even know what they are, nevermind how it was such a car before it's time). 1.8 BPT(similar to 1.8 miata motor)/AWD/Turbo/Featherlight Chassis=WIN

They are nearly impossible to find, but one day I will pick one up when I have an open space and I see one for sale for the right price.

No need to be ignorant towards people who own Hondas however, particularly cleanly built ones. Go after the people in ratted up ones who steal from one another and gave us the bad reputation. I doubt anyone in this thread is the type of person a few of you are trying to talk down to. Not the people going after the same goals you are with your own Miata. I have a lot of experience and ideas I can share with you all here as I believe in always trying to do something outside of the box along with the group of enthusiasts I spend my time around.

I look forward to this next build, will share some pictures as changes occur.

^^^

Well said my friend. I stay away from "that-type" of Honda owner/thief. GL here and look forward to seeing your Miata build.

Took shifter assembly out, ordered all new pieces. Car has 103k, and both the smaller 3 bolt boot was torn to shreds as well as the larger 4 bolt one. I had no problem with the shifter being sloppy, it was just notchy and inconsistent going into gears.

What is the suggested Gear Lube for the turret (I am assuming same weight is used inside the trans as well). I'm a Royal Purple dealer so I'll suck out the old stuff and replace it with some RP.
