Pfsh, the best upgrade is better than all of those:
Better tires.
More seat time.

Done.

1. good adjustable coilovers
2. strong, wide, lightweight alloy wheels with sticky tires
3. roll bar
4. upgraded control surfaces: steering wheel, shift knob, pedals, seats (may as well throw harnesses in here, too)
5. ITBs!

Most kids like to mod before basic maint. Then they cry when they spent all their money on mods and now have a water pump taking a shit, head gasket blowing, and radiator hoses that are ready to burst. You always need to make sure your car is tip top before doing anything to it.

I've always thought my Fidanza flywheel was one of the most appreciated purchases I have made.
