I will freely admit I've been tempted to order the slightly smaller Nardi with polished spokes and black leather rim, screw the factory knob back on, and see what that looks like. Prolly the next thing I will do with the next gob of spare cash that shows up. With both wheels in hand I could sell either one once the decision has been made.

I dig the wood look in the black. Looks classy. I like that its an attention drawer. Our interiors are pretty drab until everything is replaced, upholstered, or upgraded. The wood adds a nice bit of flare. The black with polished is nice, but until you have the polished door pulls, le speaker covers, vent rings, toggle hazards, AWD AC panel, retro gauge panel, etc. The black will just blend like oem.

I guess my point is that wooden wheel looks like it belongs in that Ferrari. Most anyone would be able to tell its an aftermarket wheel if it were in a miata. |

WildCJ5, that wheel is out of an FB RX7 in case you didn't know. They are really nice steering wheels, but huge (think school bus sized) since FB's came with a manual steering box.

I actually love the look. And if I recall correctly the trunk had some paint chips and the spoiler covers them up quite nicely. |

Didn't some miatas come with manual steering racks as well? And they have small wheels!

True, but they have manual steering racks. The FB's have a steering box, they don't have a rack and pinion. I think it makes a difference in resistance, I know for sure in feel. Baller FB owners swap in steering racks, but its usually costly. Theres a good kit that uses a mustang rack. I should note I used to have an FB, thats where I'm getting my info from.
