Haha, was at the car meet on Friday. I parked beside a mostly stock s2000, and was across the lot looking at a friend's M3 vert.
Some youngun walked up and said "Dude, is that your s2k over there? I saw you standing by it." To this I replied "Nope, I'm in the white Miata beside it." He looked at me with a hint of clueless disappointment on his face, and said, "Aw, man. I was gonna tell you that you have a sick as hell car." I couldn't help but laugh a little. What a douchelet. He then followed up with a weak little "yeah, that miata's pretty cool, too." |

Pulled up to a light late at night. Two young guys were in a Rav 4 next to me.
I can hear them saying something. So I rolled down my window. Them: "Nice Car Man"! Me: "Really"? (I thought they might have been mocking me). Them: "Do you like Dave Matthews"? Me: "What"? Them: "Dave Matthews is Awesome"! Then they drove off. I think they were both high, whatever, I am counting it as a compliment. .. |

Had a guy give me the thumbs up at a red light the other day. He then proceed to ask what year my RX-7 was. -_-

On our way to an Autocross event a buddy and I (both triple black Na's) went though the drive though for McDonalds breakfast. Cute girl working the drive though...
"You know that this is a rare car right? And there's 2 of them! Is that your friend behind you?" I just smiled, and said Yep, thanks! I thought about telling her we were going to a Autocross race but I figured it was a douche move. (friend told her anyways) |

A few weekends ago, a few drunk skanks said to each other, 'look at that little sexy black car,' as I drove by in the parking garage. It made my night for a bout 3 seconds until I slammed/scraped the shit out of my car going over a joint in the ramp. durrr.

Last week, I xas riding in my NA back from a meet, following 2 buddies with their BNFL's. All of us top down by night in the middle of Geneva, we stopped at a red light. There was only us, and 3 teenage girls sitting at the bus stop, they started squirming and taking pics with their phones. When the light turned green, I waved them and they went completely crazy. Fun to see.

-I went to a local meet and when I parked, me and a buddy stood by our cars talking about which direction we want to start walking to check out the other cars. A group of guys past by and one of them hung out of the group and approached us asking if the car I was standing next to was mine. I said yeah, and he went on about how cool/fun it must be driving at autox. The conversation evolved to how overrated large sized engine cars are.
-Went in for some detail work a while ago because a guy in one of the new gt mustangs scuffed paint when he tried to park next to me. The shop owner said that he's seen me driving on the highway a few times and that he was looking to get the same car one of these days. -Some guy in a parking lot walked up to me and said something like, "hey man iv got to give you props on that car, normally I dont like miata's but yours looks sick!" -And then just about every single girl that I've had in the car, or near the car says the car is super cute. A little piece of me dies inside whenever I hear that. |

I was eating at an outside restaurant, close to my car.
A MILF walked up next to my car, she posed next to it for her husband. "Wouldn't I look cute in this"? The husband just smiled and nodded. Crap, I drive a girls car. Even with all my racecar mods... .. |

Back when I lived in a very small apartment, I would often park my car in front of the small houses around the corner rather than risk someone backing into it on the street next to the apt. I would park in front of certain houses because there was only room for one car in between the driveways. Anyway, one day an older lady walked up to me as I was getting out the car and said "I love your car.. it's a beautiful car, you can park it there anytime". I get many compliments from the older ladies.. I think the car must take them back to times when Triumphs and MGs were plentiful.

Since I've been driving without a hardtop, the Autopower cage is breaking necks. Mostly I get "wtf" looks, and people asking if it's a race car, or if I race.
I have yet to see a panty drop from it though. |

I parked right ouside the front door of the corner store near my house to pick up a drink before work. When I was getting back into my car, a little kid was coming out of the store. His eyes got huge, he flattened up against the wall and yelled out to his dad who was parked next to me: "OH MY GOD! A VIPER!"
He was stunned until I pulled out of my parking spot and drove away |

People stopped and stared at me and my car today. They admired the lovely arson show that transpired earlier today!!! Luckily I caught it on time and prevented my dash from (and car) from burning!

I have people ask atleast once a day if my wheels are broken or supposed to "leaning" inwards like they do. it's starting to get annoying...So sometimes freak out and act like they just broke! Then facepalm n drive off.

Neighbours complimented on how little damage my car had after yesterday's incident. They said they can barely see the charring where the electrical fire transpired! I took it as a compliment!

Got a thumbs up from a guy walking down the street, and my neighbor said "it's probly pretty fast isn't it?" I had to tell him no not even a little, but it's fun in the corners. I'm amazed I get any recognition at all seeing as my car is beat to hell.

Not my Miata. But tooling through my friends neighborhood in my ms6 last night while all the people were parked to watch the fireworks. I heard a little kid yell out, Wow racecar! Side stripes + Straight pipes + loud bov = racecar now.

i finished my DIY paint job and put my pf01's on and a lot of my nieghboors came by and asked me what sort of car it was and how they liked what i did with it. considering they're all middle aged-older people, i thought it was pretty cool
