IIRC all NB2 LS and SE packages have the Torsen. It was available on the base model (black interior) as an option.

LMK if I can help in any way.

I appreciate that sir! It would have to be one heck of a deal though to justify the extra costs or travel (gas/plane, hotels) and time off from work. I am looking in the 500 mile radius of where I live.

You guys have provided a lot of good information. I have done some more research and have come up with 2 more questions that may narrow my search further.

1) I know the LS and SE packages in 2004-2005 came with 2 extra speakers in the wind blocker. They look fairly small and I was wondering how effective they were. Is the audio significantly better in the 2004-05 NB2s with the 6 speakers compared to the previous NBs with 4 speakers?

2) I think I have ruled out the tan interior because I just don't know how I feel about the tan top on any color. Black goes with any colors, but I also have seen a grey interior on a few NB2s, but it seems pretty rare. What colors/years was the light grey interior offered?

Never tire of the black interior of my miata. The grey int. on my camry OTOH... .. ok not horrible. But the black seems to run forever & seems so much more beautiful especially when detailed.. Maybe it's just bc I've had grey for 11 years.

AFA your ??'s, never wanted anything but ALL black. Getting an all black interior in a lot of other brands requires an upgraded model. For instance the Kia Optima.. Mazda is a generously black company.

And this is 100% true? If so, hell yes!! That makes it easier to find.

Here's the deal for NB2's. IDK about NB1's. They're less relevant to me.
Torsen was available on the base (black) model as a part of the suspension package. This is indicated by the presence of the front strut tower brace and 16" wheels on the '01-'02. The '03 and up came standard with 16" wheels and the strut tower brace, but not all had the suspension package (Torsen + Bilstein). All LS packages had Torsen. I think SE too.

OP: The only grey interior ever offered was on the '03 Strato Blue SE.

Great info! Thanks for the reply!

Does anyone know if a Bazooka bass tube can be connected to the factory NB Bose radio?
