I'm suprised project car would do a build-up considering it's written from guys who also work at Super Street. They always seem to being going off on how much of a girly car the Miata really is. I guess they finally realized that building up a Miata won't change your sexual preference

I've seen the mag once or twice, bought one, wasn't impressed. I'll go read in in Giant Eagle just to see the Miata build up tho. lol.

I read the first one with the 240sx and that was it. It was cool with semi-step by step pics. I'll be looking for it at the mag shops.

yes i saw it- and it is fail... they said they wanted to build a time attack car out of the miata project and a daily driver out of the Golf VR6 project.....

so what do they do? -put H&R coilovers on the Golf (daily driver) and TOKICO ILLUMINAS AND SPRINGS ON THE MIATA FJSDHFSAJDHFASKFSH they spent the rest of their budget (they had a 7000 limit) on the 5zigen miracle ass exhaust, ($800) and another 500$ on a 5zigen header...

whatever was left over went to a body kit--it was pretty fail

Maybe they should visit the forum a little, looks like it'll be an issue I'll thumb through

i looked at that last night,.

they paid 880 for the 5zigen exhaust, i got it for 650 and it wasnt even worth 650, and they did the header and it only made 103 hp.

Fali for sure. Why didn't these clowns just ask around on Miata.net or the other miata boards for advice? They act like they've never seen the internet before.

The answer is of course, advertising and sponsorship. Sounds like someone slipped them $50 to write an article about some "hot" new products.
