Default AST 4100 and Sway Bar selection

Hi All,

I recently bought the AST 4100 from Mann as they were closing them out. The front springs are 120Nm and rears are 70. Helpers are 20NM. This translates to 685 front and 400 rear. I am running energy bushings with Sadfab bronze bearings and Bauer Ltd extended Ball joints on the front.
I had FM 25mm front solid bar and 16mm rear. Should I lose the rear bar and upgrade the front to hollow RB 1.25 .188 bar?

Running 15x8 Et-35 Koenigs and will get some used Hoosier R7 soon. I am not sure whether to sell the FM bars and buy the RB. Please educate...

Generally RB is more commonly found on track oriented setups and a 16mm rear with 400lb rear springs might be too loose. How does the car feel to you? What are you trying to achieve?

949 has sway combinations published on their site but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't try the FM bars as a stop gap solution.

the suspension is all new and so far nothing has been put on. I am in the process of making an educated decision to go with OEM rear and RB 1.125 or not. I can try and sell the FM kit.

run what is on the car currently, and see how it feels to you. What works for others may not work for you.

949 recommends 54103 bar as it has 2 positions and is .125 wall
