Default Emergency/Parking Brake Warning Light - comes on while driving

Like the title says, for some reason, the emergency/parking brake warning light comes on randomly while I'm driving. It seems as though it'll only come on taking a hard corner. I check, double-check, then check again and the brake is definitely all the way down. I'm not touching it as I turn or when the light comes on.

So I guess this is what they call an "electric gremlin" and doesnt really affect driving except to annoy me. Anyone had this problem or maybe a good fix?

A wire might be grounding its self out some place, my Protege does this due to a dummy installing a gauge in my car.

2nd the brake fluid check. The sensor for low fluid triggers the emer. brake light.

Isn't that usually a flashing light though? That's how it was at least with my honda. Flashing for low fluid, and steady for complete failure somewhere.

Dunno if mazda made it the same way.

good call, guys. brake fluid is a pretty low, though not yet at the "low" marker. maybe after a corner, it dips below due to lateral G?

Correct. Then when driving normal afterwards, it'll settle and light will go off.

Yup.

Now, figure out why the fluid is low. You either need new pads or have a leak.
