So I recently bought my msm. I've only put maybe 1500 miles on it since owning. I'm noticing some clutch chatter in 2nd and 3rd at low rpm. I'm fairly sure its still the stock clutch. So anyone who knows MSM's, whats the oem clutch lifespan? I'm just at 49k btw.

A clutchs life all depends on the driver, im on almost 80K on mine and stock clutch is holding up fine.
Chatter doesn't mean the clutch it bad, a clutch is bad when at WOT it slips. |

O I know the clutch isn't bad. The chatter just has me a little worried is all. I'm just curious if I should know anything.

Mine has a little shudder occationally when in first from a halt. I've got 22,000 miles on a basically babied car. The last 4,000 miles have a few track days and hard street pulls on the clutch, but its in very good shape. The MSM stock clutch is a robust Exedy unit, and it should last the better part of 100,000 miles on stock power. If the car is making 250hp, it will still hold, but usually about half the lifespan is expected. Especially if you are using that power frequently.
