Default Need Engine Advice

Im replacing my head gasket, and my timing belt, and the seals and such that go with a timing belt kit, Im just wondering since Im doing all of this, is there anything else that I should replace or look at when I have my engine apart???

I hear it is easier to port and polish the heads while you have them off...

Powder coat the valve cover and intake...

Clean the engine bay !!!

replace the engine mounts...

The possibilities are endless. Depends on how long you can have it apart for.

Think water pump.

For just the cost of the pump you will save yourself a few hours later on

anyone know the best place to get these things, gomiata has oem parts reasonable, are any other brands good?

replace every gasket and some seals. Clean any carbon deposit or grime off the pistons. Those are thing I wish I would have done when I had my head off. Now I'm too lazy. =(
