So I was warming up my car and noticed my temp getting 3/4 to the H mark so I shut it off. Thats when I noticed it leaking coolant at a fast rate. From what I think the WATER INLET PIPE. Im aware that there is a gasket there but my question is this a usual leak or is it caused by the water pump. Any information is appreciated.

That gasket gets changed when you replace the water pump/timing belt job. It is easiest to move the a/c compressor out of the way.

I found out it was the wp. Should I still replace this gasket?

Most water pump kits come with a gasket for the connection the the block, and the connection the inlet.

So yes, change out the gasket.

i just started mine after having it leak while sitting for a few days i have been using water lately for radiator fluid and it has rusted in the area of the o rings for the inlet pipe i noticed a metal shim and gasket sealer where the gasket normally goes should i buy another gasket or will descent sealer work also i believe i may have over torqued the screws putting them in the first time any other advice?

DO A TIMING BELT AT THE SAME TIME!!!!! It is all the same labor and only adds a few dollars to the whole job.

Kumar, have you done the t-belt and water pump or did you just repair the inlet? Overtorquing the screws raises hell with the gaskets. You might have split that already. Get new ones and dont gorilla it this time.
