Replacing Clutch Cylinder Slave - removing metal line to slave

Hi ppl

Been out of action for a while - currently my NA miata's sitting without any fluid in the clutch, making it pretty much immovable from my garage.

Hoping I can get some advice - I know it's a simple procedure but it relates to removing the old clutch cylinder.

The metal clutch piping which connects to the slave is proving to be my downfall.

Do you guys remove the two large bolts and free the slave off the block first, or undo the smaller bolt connecting the metal line to the slave first?

I can't seem to get this small bolt off the metal line despite heaps of WD40 and using my small spanner is causing the nut to warp a bit! :fp:

Comtemplating bringing it to a workshop to deal with but it's not in my ethos to bite the bullet without trying to get some input on this forum here first.

Thanks for reading!
