Found a replacement miata for my totalled one. Same year 95 and its I visually good condition and it drives strong. Only thing was. It had 200,000 miles on it and it th valves ticked when driving. He is the second owner and he is fairly old lol. Lowest he will go is 2,000. And one thing that hasn't left my mind is that I have a still running motor with 130k on the engine that's sitting in my drive way. What should I do?!?!? Im a working student so 2k is alot for, e but that's all I got saved for a new car
uhh get it.. a 95 is a steal for 2 grand especially if in good condition. you can always swap the motor, that doesnt take any time at all. and then sell the 200k engine for dirty buttsex cheap. or else just sell your 130k engine and tranny make up for the loss as much as possible
I'd buy it and save or rebuild the other engine for when the 200K one takes a dump. There's no better peace of mind than knowing you have a good motor for backup.
Actually just droped in a quart of resoline and fixed it after a few miles! So happy to hear that sound just disappear
