i dont know how to fix your problem. but if you use a lot of starter fluid you will put holes in your pistions. and what kind of engine swap did u do? and cheack you mass air flow sensor.

We need more info. Is it only spraying fuel out the injectors when you are turning the engine over? I had this same problem and it turned out being my air flow meter. With the miatas, the fuel pump will come on when you turn the key to the start position. Once the engine starts and you release the key, it's the airflow meters job to keep the fuel pump running. The reason being, is because inside the airflow meter is a little contact point that has to be touching for the fuel pump to continue running. My flapper valve inside my airflow meter was stuck shut, and because it wasn't opening, it wasn't allowing those 2 contacts to touch and keep the fuel pump going. So mine would start up and then pretty much immediately die.
