the **** doesn't work in my car, so **** it...
take it out.
the only thing i have left to do is remove the line that goes through the firewall, but i'm at a loss.
i'm not replacing the gas pedal, i'm not removing the cruise switch (for now), but how the **** do i get that cable out?
any thoughts?
suggestions?
i think there is a clip near the pedal you dont need new pedals look at everything and figure out how it works then decide how to remove it. better yet look at a miata parts book and find the CC system and remove all that is involved. honestly the whole thing should take about 10 mins to remove.
two bolts on the cruise control canister thing, that piece is out. the vac line going to the im is already capped, that was about 5 minutes. lol.
idk where the parts book is, is it hosted on this site somewhere?
or easily accessible on .net or something?
I haven't tested my cruise control yet but I want to take it out. I've never used cruise control in my car since most of the time they did not come with it.
Nice necro post. i think this thread is before phillyb hated everyone...
anyways yank out the servo. cap the intake manifold. and disconnect the cable that attaches to the pedal. it is easy and if you cant figure it out put the wrenches away (forever) and get help
