Oil pressure/Oil Pan question

Hey guys,
I was going through my usual weekend wash cars, check fluids routine this morning.
I noticed my oil level in my 94 was beyond the low mark. I haven't noticed any fluid dripping, and my oil pressure has been completely fine. My car is decently lowered, so it wouldn't really surprise me if one of the scraping noises I hear daily cracked my oil pan. My real question is: If the pan is cracked, wouldn't the oil pressure drop almost immediately?
Thanks guys

Oil pressure will only drop if the oil level falls below the pickup in the pan. This is quite some distance from the low oil mark on the dipstick. If you cracked your pan by running in to something at 10+ mph, I would not expect the pan to hold oil for more than a few seconds. Check compression first, and then jack the car up and inspect the front mail seal area, the bottom of the bellhousing (where oil will drip if it's the rear main seal failing), and check your valvecover and sensor seal locations on the head.
