Well I was getting ready to go to church and when i was getting in my car to drive off. I noticed putting into reverse was a bit hard then when i put into first it stalled out. What ive noticed is that my reverse is stuck in even if im in neutral and i release the clutch it will move back as if it was in reverse.. So if anyone has had this problem before if you could help me out or if you might know what you think is wrong. Hopefully i dont have to pull the tranny all the way out..

Get under the car on the left side of the trans you should see a big bolt with wires hanging out. Take that bolt out and get the stubbiest screwdriver you can find. Stick it in the hole and you should feel like a notch, pry te notch forward and backward until it clicks into place. Check your shifter to see if it shifts right
"get thee a stubby screw driver my son and thou shall know the way forward again!"
On a serious note, this isn't a big deal. A quick search of 'Miata stuck in reverse' will return a plethora of information on this issue. I had mine fixed in less than half an hour.
Peace be with you.
