Alright everyone, I recently bought a 1992 Miata with 109k on it, and made a silly mistake by not throughly checking everything. I figured since it was a 92 it was completely exempt from the crank pulley wobble problem, since it's long nose and all. But..........I have it, I think at least.
The crank pulley definitely seems to be wobbling in a left to right motion. When the engine is cold it doesn't look like it wobbles at first, it seems to take about 1-1.5 minutes to start wobbling. I tried taking a video of it, but you can't really see it in the video, so it was no use. The Pulley bolt in the middle seems to be fine, as in it doesn't seem to be wobbling, it's more so the pulley around the bolt.
So do you all think I have the long nose problem or something may have flown up and hit the pulley like a rock or something? Could I just get a new pulley and that would fix it? Is it safe to keep driving like this? Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it a lot.
