It's disappeared. Please learn to spell, it will help you later in life.

Did you check on the bottom of the block? Maybe the drain bolt backed off a little? Did you tighten down the oil filter? Please give some more info or take your car to a shop.

I'm sorry i offend all the smart college educated people on here that have a higher education than I do. ill stop being lazy for you guys. Back to my question, I added a quart and it showed about half on the dipstick. I know how to work on my cars pwrofturbo. Its an oil change... and iroadster I added some already and changed blinker fluid too!;) I never had this problem before, that's why I asked and maikeru nothing is leaking on the outside.

Im pretty sure I could spell disappear and could since like, 1st grade... sell your miata, buy a camry, take it to valvoline.... It can still be burning even if theres not a noticeable amount of smoke coming out the exhaust... it happens...

i really hate to bump this thread, but it's the last one i recall seeing regarding mah oilz disssappppearing.

every now and then (after drives of around 50 miles) i park my car and then the next morning, i'll have a puddle of oil under the car.
also, sometimes it will leak after sitting for a few days. i have no idea what to check, no idea why it would "leak" sometimes and not leak other times.
with regard to the main seals, where can i find out more information about that?
i found this regarding the cas o ring - http://www.miata.net/garage/cas_seal.html

Switch to a lighter oil bgNA, 20-50 is to thick for the oil passages in most import cars.

Philly B did you check if your oil pan was leaking from the gasket area?
