It seems i blew a coil again... 97...but the odd thing this time was i had no choice but to drive it home...no one was home to grab the rollback and get me...but 3 miles into driving on 2 cylinders...i was heavy throttle to get it moving during a turn and the other cylinders jumped back in hard and made the car slide out...and it drove amazing for another 3 miles till i got stopped at a light...then it went back to 2 cylinders...i have already replaced the alternator and adding extra grounding along with regrounding all original grounds...anyone think that the coil is still good... just maybe the ECU junk.? anyone who knows me knows that this has been going on for close to 2 years
If it were me, I'd get a new harness from planetmiata, and just replace the harness. It's not as hard as it sounds. There's an engine harness and a dash harness which separate with a few main plugs. Computers are cheap so I'd try that also.
