So, I've been lurking a long time and tonight I just picked up my first Miata. Drove it home 3.5 hours and it ran perfectly. Stopped for gas, food, rest stop, and it always started right up. I get home, go get my wife to show her the new car, turn it on and there's nothing. No lights, no click, no sign of power. I checked the battery terminals and they look fine. Any clues? I haven't checked fuses yet.

Same here, generally the Negative in my personal car.

Especially in my case when there's something in the trunk that drains a lot. :D

Well... look at that.

The terminals were on there pretty snug, but I tried harder to get them to wiggle and wadya know - it starts right up.

We just got our first snow and the car is sporting some half used RT-615's. Let's just say the ride home was a little hairy  It did make giving the wife her first ride a little more fun.

Pretty much. I only open the trunk to put my steering wheel in it when I go somewhere.
I have no room in my trunk.

I don't have the spare or the jack either. Other than the battery, there's just two things inside. But it takes up most of the trunk.
