i tried searching and found nothing of use, where'd all the stickied threads go? anyways apparrently the 96 doesn't have the obd2 scanning tool port so how do i check this?
I've looked high and low. Don't see it and found a few articles saying early 96's don't have it. It's a m edition but I'm sure that doesn't matter. Removed colum cover and there is nothing
I know this is a super noob question but I can't find it for the life of me. Would someone be kind enough to take a picture of the location? Is there another way to see the codes? I know in hondas you can simply jump 2 wires and cel flashed revealing codes
In the strange case that the car was in an accident before you bought it, it could be possiblle that the dash was replaced with a 94-95 dash. When the airbags deployed in my 96, I replaced the dash....unexpectantly getting a 94/95 instead of the 96/96 like I thought I had bought.
You must have not search for crap on the internet...I found this within 5 seconds of searching on Google...
Yea you cant do the wire jump with the obd2 cars. I checked my friends obd2 miata last week. It should be under where your right shin would be if you were sitting inside the car.
