Dumb OIL cooler question

I have a spare radiator designed for use on a car with an automatic transmission.. Would it be possible to use the part of the radiator designed for the auto trans to cool the engine oil? would it allow enough flow and handle the pressure.. Might there be other problems caused by it reducing the cooling capacity for the water by too much? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks.. I kind of suspected that was the case.. but I had to ask.. Is the cooling capacity of the radiator about the same otherwise.. I did notice that it has brass caps instead of plastic.. I have been holding onto it as a spare, but with the price of copper I may just recycle it, and get an aluminum unit when, or if the existing unit fails.

No need for an oil cooler on these cars..unless you are heavily boosted or running stupid compression.

the 1.8 comes with a little cooler right at the base of the oil filter...between the filter and the block with a water line ....which is not on the 1.6
