Looking for some advice, I just noticed some gurgling noise from the driver side of the engine bay of my 90 1.6. I can also hear it from under my dash, Its not very loud but still annoying. I thought i may have some air trapped in the cooling system since i changed the water pump in october. After a flush and refill its still there.. Im thinking it has something to do with the heater core? any advice or input to fix it?
Well turned out that it was the cheapo ebay torque damper bolts getting loose and rattled against the brake master.. funny how loose washers can be such a headache in miatas. I've had entire exhaust system on my hondas fall apart and still not make as much noise
must be the Honda's superior engineering...Better to hear it and be annoyed so you fix (like this), than it to fall completely off and you not know what is going on.
my '94 1.8 has been making that gurgling noise ever since I did an oil change on it, but only noticable in 4th or 5th, and it sounds like sucking air through a soda straw in a tin can. never have figured it out, and I know everything is nice and tight in it
