Okay i was just looking around ebay and came arcoss a Air intake system from Weaopn-R. And was wondering if this thing is any good:fab:. So does anyone have one installed in their NA or any other miata. Any opinion helps to. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Weapon R stuff is no good and fitting is terrible. Just get the Randall with a KN panel, Racing Beat intake, or a Jackson Racing Intake. Those are much better!
just make a DIY intake homie, I spent about $20 total on mine. Possibly lost MAYBE 1tq in the low end but gained GREAT throttle response, badass intake sound, and much nicer top end..
Not sure how much work is involved doing something similar to an NA, but I can imagine you can come up with something similar or figure out how to make your own, it's very easy..
It was cut from the oem intake. Then just drilled a spot for the sensor and drilled a spot for a grommet and fitting to run the hose from your valve cover. (I don't recommend just putting a filter on the valve cover, there's a reason it's not atmospherically vented but that's a whole different subject.)
