hello miata people, so I was doing this header change with basic tools and knew the egr pipe would have to be cut because mine was fucked up so I cut it and have a new one ready to go. everything came off fine and all was going smooth, too smooth. the trouble I am having now is with a small bracket that holds my downpipe to my trans. I got the bottom bolt of the brace off but now one bolt of doom stands in my way of new headers. I have a simple tool set so if anyone knows of a certain tool that helped with that or even a technique that would be great.
If not then at this point I might just go buy a sawsaz because I always seem to need one anyway and plan on cutting speaker holes in the sheet metal of the rear shelf. But I'd rather not cut the brace and buy a sawsaz right now if I don't need to.

it is the small 12mm cature nut for the clamp here.
