So it's a hard shell "skin" that just goes over the existing quarter panel or is the original QP removed/cut out and replaced with the new CF skin?

Yes, this are just hard skin for the doors and quarter panel. The fenders are replacement fenders. This are also 30mm wider than stock.

I think it looks good like this, it could be a bit lower, but if that takes away from the fun of driving it I'd say leave it like this.
Getting some 205/50/15 tyres will fill out the fenders a bit more, so you can cheat a bit at being hella unfunctional.
I'm afraid mines already a bit past functional, but it's still fast enough to get me into trouble

yeah a little lower wouldnt hurt i guess:/ its a little complicated right now though;my whole suspension setup. i have racelands in the back and bilsteins in the front. so its staying that height until i save up for some suspension. yeah my tires are 195/50/15's with a sleight stretch. your miata looks good just the way it is

is yours a 1.8?
