Hi, If you are planning to work it by vinyl film, I'd like to suggest a tip for putting stripe on you Mx-5. It's applying car wax just before putting stripe film. It allows to put out easily after a few years when your style had changed. I'd put film stripes 3 times on my Roadster and put it out twicefor 2 years, but it was put out without any damage on the paint. Please don't worry about strength of film adhesive even wax was applied.
