Default DIY new soft top fitted ...

... managed to gather together enough courage this morning to replace my soft top !

weather man promised a full day of warm sunshine and he didn't let me down - big thanks to out friends over on the M.net for the fitting tutorials that were very helpful ...

the hood is an OEM mazda unit so as hoped for it fitted pretty much perfectly, the rear rain rail metal retainers have yet to be tightened hence the ripoples in the rear fabric but I think the results are not too bad for a days work ( 11 hours !!! ... the problem of being a slow perfectionist )

I did it with the frame still on the car, I didn't even take the rear quarter trim panels off as I have a roll bar fitted and had to leave them in situ ...

It was a real pain when I did mine with the bar in. Cheers, man.
