Default Weekend Splitter Project...

Just wanted to share with ya'll my project I did over the weekend. A friend of mine had an APR s2000 splitter he wasn't using and I wanted to fit it on my miata. Unfortunately it was way to big...so I had to pull out the trusty dremel and and cut it to size..almost took off 25% of the splitter!

Still not sure about the fitment but what do you think?

Also, kind of off subject i'm going to be selling the 14x8 diamond racing wheels on the car as soon as the v2 competitions come in that I ordered last week just in case anyone is interested.

I wish I did but it was just 4 self tapping screws in the middle of the splitter to my lip, 2 bolts at the end of the lip and a couple of zip ties in the bottom/rear of the splitter. Its been on for about a week with some spirited highway driving and some scrapage...still hanging on pretty tight.

I really need to cut a more aggressive splitter out next time I make one of these. That looks beautiful.

Thanks for all the comments and kudos. I wasn't sure about the length that would be sticking out from the lip but it has really grown on me.

The lip is actually made out of carbon fiber but the picture is too dark to see the color unfortunately.

You should trace a template based on your modifications to the splitter, and then convert it to a life-size vector file or something and upload it here.
