Not my car, but I took these of my friend's Rx8 today before it snowed too much for the miata to get home.

Was able to take the car out a bit on Friday, but the weather's still not good enough to bring her out of the garage and up to school for good, so here she stays.

Nothing, the story behind it is it had a center exhaust before and the hole was there, didnt know what to do with it and didnt wanna get a new rear bumper soooooo I put a tow hook there, welded to the trunk floor area and its not functional at all, I have rennemetal tow hooks on the rear that are functional and also have a functional one sitting in my passenger seat that will be on the front once I grind off a bolt that wont come off.

The car is coming along very nicely. You have a bit of form&function going on at the same time. The blue wheels suprisingly don't take away from your car, but compliments it. I am guessing that is the final ride height it's going to be at too? You should get rid of the R rear lip and get short mud guards instead :]

Nohaven, what mesh wheels are those?
![]() It's not a professional finish, but it's an improvement over the black & filler look I've been rocking. I've never painted anything in my life, so it could have been MUCH worse. Anyway, it's a temporary thing. From here, I'll be touching up little things that need filling and then waiting for an entire re-paint of the car at some point in the future. I got to say, I had fun doing this entire project from start to finish. I had to learn everything I did on this and went far beyond better than what I expected from anyone with my limited skill set. |
