Default Type of paint to use around windshield?

My cars windshield was previously painted black. I like the look but it's starting to chip. What type of paint do I use to re do it? Thanks.

$.99 rattle can of gloss black paint? That's what mine is painted with. There's really not much to think about and re-rattle canning it should do fine for your car. Just do some prep work so that it won't flake off in the future.

The windshield frame is the least of your problems.

Anything I post will undoubtedly, most assuredly, with absolute certainty, be better than anything you could ever hope to even begin to fathom.

It's just the way it is.
