It's been in the works for awhile. Just a few extra hoops to jump through and finally got to installing it. Hoping to have a few more big changes here shortly, but who knows if they will happen.

3. I have deleted my console and have a red stitched vinyl parking brake boot. It fits the same as with the console. Just slips over the hand brake assembly. I plan to try adding a vinyl shift boot to my shifter soon. If it goes as planned I'll post it here.

4. Check out Garage Stars tombstone cap also. Seen below in my car.

That.
Looks.
Amazing!

Tiny detail:
Maybe delete the seatbelt-extenders, or see if you can turn them silver/chrome.
Because (I assume) they are plastic, and that makes them "stick out" a bit.

Other than that:
Pretty perfect.

I love the wheel, does it have an airbag? I've really wanted an aftermarket wheel for my NA but have a hard time thinking of going without an airbag. Yours looks like it would be a happy medium between the stock NA wheel and an aftermarket one.

That wheel does not have an airbag.
There are two versions of the stock Mazda wheel that have an airbag (one's (fake) leather, the other's got some wood).
I don't know about the US-Market, but Raid makes a sports steering wheel that has an airbag.
And some people claim you can modify the NB-wheel to work in the NA, but it's unclear if the airbag would deploy in case of an accident.

Factory Eunos wheel. I have it in my car - no airbag.

Ah, thanks for the reply. You still broke my heart though. God I want a better looking wheel than the stock NA. But I just don't feel very good about the idea of my head crashing into an aluminum race wheel.

Why not swap in the NB wheel? From my understanding, it's a simple swap and modernizes the look of your interior.

The NB wheel looks terrible in NAs, like a sore thumb.

I think the NB wheel looks much cleaner in the NA. They NA's center is too square and looks odd vs the rest of the car to me.

Also, why the NB-wheel can be modified to fit the NA, there's no proof (as far as I know) that the airbag still deploys as it should.

Regarding my Eunos wheel:

Correct, no airbag. But here's the thing. According to my (perhaps flawed) memory of the history of airbags, the older ones in the 90s utilized an explosive to detonate and inflate the airbag. There were a lot of airbag related deaths growing up, and I don't know if these two correlate, but still, it's a 90s airbag.

That being said, modern ones utilize two separate chemicals which mix to chemically inflate the airbag, and are thus much safer.

Final note: When my dad and I detonated the 1990 Miata OEM airbag module for shiggles, I remember flinching from the loud BANG, and by the time I saw the airbag again, it was 12 feet in the air. The module was smoking heavily and was very hot to the touch. Truth be told...I don't want that ten inches in front of my face during a crash.

The force of older airbags is much larger than modern ones, which are still pretty powerful (it's why two-stage airbags were developed).
That force is the reason why bruises and, in extreme cases, light burns are typical injuries you get "in exchange" for not slamming into the steering wheel.
