No problem. Keep in mind that this only applies for the Sport bar. The Hard Core and Hard Core Hard Top are a little harder to spot. Stock, both M1 Hard Core bars have a welded-in harness bar between the rear supports--this would cause interference with the window on a M2.
I see you speak Hard dog fluently. Are the stainless versions lighter ?
Now that question I don't really know the answer to

I would venture to guess that the stainless would be heavier, but I'm not sure. Standard bars are just powdercoated black.

my harness and seat position make it impossible for me to hit my head on the back bar. I'm kinda short (5'8") and I'm comfortable sitting closer to the steering wheel anyway. I might have to re-examine that though, I have another stick of SFI padding laying around.

That blows about your car, revlimiter! Did you get a concussion from hitting your sfi padding on the bar?

Re: roll bar thread?

Speaking of which, how is the optionnal padding on Hard Dog bars ? Sorry for all the noob's question, a roll bar is probably my next purchase and I don't want to make the wrong choice.
I'm not sure if there are any vendors on your side of the pond, but here's Hard Dog's website with prices. If you can, give Tom a call: he might be able to tell you if/how you can get some padding.

Sorry, I probably didn't express it well, I do know padding is an option available for pretty much all the Hard Dog bars and there is quiet a few vendors in the UK, my question was : is it any good ? I mean, is it just for show or is it really thick enough to protect your head from cracking open ? Thanks for your kindness, Bryan.

Yes, I did! But it was a minor one. Better than brain damage or death from hitting the unpadded bar. Seriously, my head hit at full force imparted from the truck hitting me at 70mph. Your body does WEIRD stuff at those sorts of forces. I was forced straight up in my seat and hit the base of my skull against the rollbar padding. I guess I rubbed along the roof of my hardtop too, but I don't remember that.

yeah, it sucked losing the 97, but my 95 is gonna be better in every way. :D

Got my bar in place last night....need to drill, trim, etc.

Those f'ing seat belt real bolts SUCK! This is my 3rd Miata, 3rd rollbar - and it doesnt get any easier.

...and I did it at night, 30 degrees....top down, car running, heat CRANKED! I kept using a lighter to see the seatbelt reel bolt hole.

^haha nice. I put the top down when it was about 45 out, and when I put it up I tore a hole in it  I'm guessing it was from the salt/snow.
