is there a roll bar thread in this forum? I've searched but did find one. please post your roll bar. thanksZ. does anyone have pictures of bsp roll bars?
Now that question I don't really know the answer toI see you speak Hard dog fluently. Are the stainless versions lighter ?No problem. Keep in mind that this only applies for the Sport bar. The Hard Core and Hard Core Hard Top are a little harder to spot. Stock, both M1 Hard Core bars have a welded-in harness bar between the rear supports--this would cause interference with the window on a M2.
Sweet!hardcore bars are only if ur doing either sick wheel to wheel races or trial events and doesnt apply to normal track days. vagaxt runs a m2 sport on his MSM too and he has no problems getting onto the track.
is that street legal to have?i was thinking of getting 1 fabricated also.tythis thread needs more rollcages.

Believe him, Nev...he would know!you need some of that padding behind your head too, Nev. Your life is worth $20 worth of padding.
I'm not sure if there are any vendors on your side of the pond, but here's Hard Dog's website with prices. If you can, give Tom a call: he might be able to tell you if/how you can get some padding.Speaking of which, how is the optionnal padding on Hard Dog bars ? Sorry for all the noob's question, a roll bar is probably my next purchase and I don't want to make the wrong choice.
Sorry, I probably didn't express it well, I do know padding is an option available for pretty much all the Hard Dog bars and there is quiet a few vendors in the UK, my question was : is it any good ? I mean, is it just for show or is it really thick enough to protect your head from cracking open ? Thanks for your kindness, Bryan.I'm not sure if there are any vendors on your side of the pond, but here's Hard Dog's website with prices. Yes, I did! But it was a minor one. Better than brain damage or death from hitting the unpadded bar. Seriously, my head hit at full force imparted from the truck hitting me at 70mph. Your body does WEIRD stuff at those sorts of forces. I was forced straight up in my seat and hit the base of my skull against the rollbar padding. I guess I rubbed along the roof of my hardtop too, but I don't remember that.my harness and seat position make it impossible for me to hit my head on the back bar. I'm kinda short (5'8") and I'm comfortable sitting closer to the steering wheel anyway. I might have to re-examine that though, I have another stick of SFI padding laying around.
That blows about your car, revlimiter! Did you get a concussion from hitting your sfi padding on the bar?
AMEN TO THAT!this thread needs more rollcages.
does this clear with the hardtop? any pics with hardtop on? how do the front bars bend around the dashboard? how are the door bars bent so it clears door panels?AMEN TO THAT!

edit: dilly - i hope that's not a stock factory brace your harness is attached to!
^haha nice. I put the top down when it was about 45 out, and when I put it up I tore a hole in it  I'm guessing it was from the salt/snow....and I did it at night, 30 degrees....top down, car running, heat CRANKED! I kept using a lighter to see the seatbelt reel bolt hole.
May I ask you how tall are you ? Do you drive in a kind of laid back position or pretty close to your steering wheel ? I like your HD a lot, but the way your bucket seat's headrest touches it is bugging me.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v391/EmMi_SoN/DSC_0080.jpg
