Default Question about the '93 LE's red

Hello everyone
I'm considering installing some pieces in red leather in my MX5, in the '93 LE's shade of red to be precise.
My MX5 is brilliant black, so that should look decent.
But pictures on the internet have left me a bit unsure.
On some it looks rather dark, kind of a Bordeaux-red color, on others it could be confused with Bentley's "Hotspur"-red:

Is it really that bright?
Because I'm still aiming for a "vintage" look, I don't want to drive around in a stoplight.
I know the question is a bit vague, but even some opinions would help.
Because buying pieces/having pieces made only to see that they're the "wrong" color is something I can't/don't want to afford.

Thanks in advance,

Max

LE red has a blue component where the Bentley has a bit of yellow. Your description of "bordeaux" is pretty accurate as it ages. When new it was a bright color, but as it ages and weathers it tends to take on a darker cast. I've never seen an LE with a color even close to the Bentley in the photo.
