I just popped the wiper nut cover in there.

One of the nuts is covered by the hood so I used that one. Free and works.

It is a rubber plug. Looks just like the ones in the bottom of the trunk to let out water if the seals ever go bad... Looks like this: http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CKMBEPICMAA

Too lazy to embed. I've got one, and I've got to say, I was a bit disappointed when it arrived at the Mazda dealership since they didn't have a picture or anything.

I pulled my dash and replaced it with a pre airbag dash. While it was out I pulled everything from behind the dash to do with the AC and heater then relocated the 2 electronic boxes from behind the pass seat under the dash. I need to make a switch plate and put some switches for the windows, flashers and head lights (up and down).

So now I have pulled:

Cruise control
AC (complete delete)
heater
power steering (complete de power)
soft top
pass seat
hard top latches
full carpet / arm rests
door cards and door sills
lighter
dash vents
tomb stone
spare / jack
misc stuff from under hood

Well i'm about 165.....thanks for asking.
Car? I dont know.

No passenger seat, the ear plugs are for me, when I work night shift I use them if I drive to work for the ride home, If I don't then my ears ring and I cant fall to sleep. The ear plug thing fit perfect in the lighter hole.

I did learn from changing dash. The gage hood, tomb stone and thing that goes under the steering wheel wont fit from my old dash. Got the hood with all tabs from a nice guy on here and will either make or find the piece for under the steering wheel.

Aus rotten, damn you I had that idea in my head for so long and had my doubts, but you've taken them all away, now I have to do it. Same as you, but with heather installed and suede on the crash pads.

I'm in the process of stripping my car. I've removed about 90 pounds so far. I even got my dad involved to grind off some of the sharp edges (see attached picture). I also created a bracket for the gauge cluster.

I'll take some more and post later.

^ nice, If I can't sell my old dash I might be going the next step and pulling the bar out of the dash and doing it like you are. It's a lot easier when you have a spare dash to tear apart.

I'm concidering changing my plastic plate to aluminum so I can mount some switches.

was debating on leaving my interior together so my gf could drive my miata when i'm in the Cressida, but my cat pissed all over the inside of the car so now that decision has been made for me. looking for 914 seats or some other retro-looking shit. going to leave the dash and center console in for now, looking at tuck n roll vinyl by the yard to make a console cover.
