Default SnugTop Hardtop Side brackets?

NOT LATCHES, SPEC MIATA STYLE BRACKETS.

Anyone know of a place to get Snugtop hardtop side brackets?
I am getting frustrated with making my own. The bottom side of the bracket I keep messing up and either too small or cracks or something. I'm just using 1/8 thick aluminum.

Thanks

I imagine you could find most of the parts needed at your local Home Depot or similar. That hook part can be kinda tricky, though...and they do like to bend with ease.

Oh, I assume I should mention I need brackets not latches. I ahve a rollbar that hit the side latches.

I want 1 piece brackets. Spec Miata style.

They only make Spec Miata parts and in Spec Miata you are only allowed to use an OEM hardtop. So I assume those brackets are for the OEM hardtop which has a completely different bolt pattern then a SnugTop.

I'd suggest you make your brackets not from aluminium, but from steel. Rennmetal's are steel, IIRC.

Ooop, sorry. I totally misunderstood what you wrote. Sorry about that.

...and the holes on the SnugTop won't line up with any spec brackets. You'll either need to make some or have someone do it for you. I don't recall the exact placement, but maybe adding some holes to existing spec brackets would work? Would very possibly need some reshaping as well.

Mebbe I can get RyokuRob to make brackets, as I also need a pair for my SnugTop targa top.
