I need to find another KG Works Vintage. I have a Voodoo (or the generic equivalanet) on there now and don't like it -too large. I am also going to get an ARC Titanium to switch back and forth. $200 on shift knobs, no wonder I can never save enough to paint the car.

Re the KG Comment - I had the KG Vintage but did not like 1) the size and 2) the aluminum dulling finish. Therefore, I did a hybrid of a Sola Chrome and KG Vintage emblem:

Don't you feel the stock resin ones are a bit slippery?

I had some metal/chrome razos before and it was hot during summer and cold during winter....

I'm picking up a black chrome one from ce28n tomorrow...will let you know how it goes...

they get hot, but ive never actually burned my hand on it. Its really not that bad, dont let it hold you back from purchasing one if you want it. your typical engine warmup time and the knob is back to "room temperature" I guess you would say

someone on .net suggested just cutting open a tennis ball to pop on there to keep it out of the sun, and also who would steal a tennis ball shift knob anyways?

I have an old school Razo RA9.

My gf has a RA23 and that thing gets hot! One of the things I like about the RA9 is the carbon part doesn't heat up and I can grab that with a couple of fingers if the Al gets too hot.
