well it wasnt exactly in the best shape when i got it from you either lol, i barely got it home because it was misfiring really bad due to water in the spark plugs and it was leaking oil everywhere because the oil pump was for a fwd car and had a hole for where the dipstick would go when transverse mounted a bolt and some jb weld fixed that. but before i get too off topic heres some slammage

Shakotans come in 15x9 +0 and -15 so I don't imagine big spacers are necessary to fill in flares.

So I don't know to ask in the fitment thread or in here. Currently I'm running 195/50/15s (well once the snow is gone) at this ride height. If I go down to a 195/45/15 how much wheel to arch gap would I have compared do you think? I don't want it looking all mexican flush. I just need more turning clearance up front

Technically speaking, you will have around 10mm more arch gap clearance and 10mm lower height. |

I would leave it as is... It looks really good! Perhaps would even make it half an inch higher and it would be fun!

Thank you, I love the way it looks right now but the amount of tire I have upfront is causing major rub issues while turning. But I'm worried going down to a 45 series sidewall will cause the car to look odd since I don't plan on removing any collars or anything to get it lower suspension wise

You wont notice much with how it all looks together from what I can tell. My rim to fender sits about the same as yours and the tires on your car look like 195/45s to me. Definitely dont look like they are 50's.

Maybe this will help with showing the 50 sidewall. They are just used tires off a miata we had in the dealership I took the used wheels off.

Agreed, the wheels were a bit too much. I was saving up for new wheels. Problem solved.
