Gearheads Garage - endlinks

SUMMARY: The product, the vendor and the customer service is unbeatable! I would not hesitate to recommend Gearheads to anyone.

I bought a set of the 2.Low endlinks from Steve at Gearheads Garage. But, they weren't just any ol' set of endlinks - these were custom built by Steve (which I suppose is repetitive since they are all custom built by Steve).

I'm at 11.5" at the front, so the 2.Low were the obvious choice. Steve also advised that since I'm running the tubular Racing Beat sways, I need a heavy-duty set. So he hooked me up with that too - IIRC, my set is stainless steel, whereas the normal sets are not (I forget what the normal sets are made of). It's nice to know a shop isn't just trying to make a sale but instead is trying to make sure your car is properly set-up.

But that's not the end of it. I forgot to mention to Steve that my 94 has lower control arms off of a 2000. Apparently, the mounting tabs are different and NBs require extra washers (as spacers). So I called Steve and he hooked it up again, giving me spacers and an extra long bolt too, just in case.

In the end, the car feels great, the endlinks look good and I can't wait to take her back to the track!

I thought Steve was moving on...
That's what some other people told me too, after I told them I got new endlinks from Steve. But it sounded to me like Gearheads is still in the endlinks business, though I think he was able to build me a set partially because he already had the parts laying around the garage. Perhaps he's not bringing in new inventory and just getting rid of what he already has on-hand? Your guess is as good as mine!
