Being an unusually tall Asian (5'11"), I used to have a rubbing issue on my thigh with the stock door handle. I was looking for a solution, when !njoy happened to have a group buy going for these awesome aluminum + vinyl/ leather door pulls... so I had to get them.

So far, they've been nothing but great! Classic styling - Brushed aluminum cap with a red vinyl strap. They're very sturdy and easy to install.

The package was much better than I thought it would be - I expected a bunch of parts thrown into a bubble mailer, but to my surprise, it arrived with delivery confirmation, and everything was separated into little compartments!

Here are some detail shots of the aluminum knob and the vinyl strap. Everything was top notch quality.

Installed:

I would give these a 9 out of 10. They're awesome little door pulls - they gave me the room I needed, and had outstanding packaging. The -1 point is for a lack of instructions. As easy as it was to install, some noobs might have issues installing them. (You need to take off the door panel and take off the plastic screw holder)

Update:

I had ordered them with the strap black + red stitching... but Leon didn't have them available at the time, so he sent me red ones.

I just got the black ones with red stitching in the mail. ;]

EXCELLENT service and follow up!

jay, did you put a cap on the panel for the pocket?
and yes. +1 to this item. as soon as the group buy started i PMed leon and asked him to get these too me before my photoshoot. and he express shipped them to me asap.
He also special made me them with polish caps!!! <3

red strap+black stitching+polished caps.. yes yes horrible picture is horrible lol. the only reason why the cap looks dark is because its reflecting all my interior thats black lol. its polished tho, take my word for it.

you need summa deez, I went with a bigger diameter cap tho as you can see. right..........^ here

Yeah, I went to Ace Hardware and found some little rubber washers... they fit perfectly with the stock black screw.
I reinforced it with a metal backing, but i still wouldn't trust it to keep the map pocket on. I never use it, so it's no problem.

I'll go put the black/red straps on in a few days, I'm busy sending out my resume and stuff right now.

wow jay, Thanks for the write up. I have been working on instructions to send with the kits, but have yet to finish them(new kids are needy little suckers), but i will get them out. In the kits i sent hardware for both installing in the stock upper handle hole(the white inserts to replace the old ones, the 1.5" set screws) and hardware for newly drilled holes(the shorter screws and the backing plates to screw in from behind) I will do the instructions soon.

But thank you jay for this write up, looks good.
