Damn, that's long when you write it all out huh?

Anyway, after some thought on which roll bar to get, and after many more recommendations towards the Hard Dog, I can see why  I've been talking to Phatty a lot to brush up on my knowledge, Noah for gen. chit-chat and engine decisions, Will for some interesting subjects, my Buddy Jake who now has his BRG, and Taylor for Rspeed help. After prying a lot of info out of everyone, they can all agree that HardDog is probably one of the best bars out there. So after talking with Taylor for a while and deciding back and forth on what I wanted, I decided to go w/ the HDHCDD4HT in black PC, so in the future when I finally get my hardtop, I won't have to replace the bar. Well, I would like to thank Taylor and Rspeed for such an incredible deal. It wasn't a special or anything, just a really great price!! They were the lowest price I've seen for the bar, but shipping was the absolute cheapest. Not that I'm complaining about spending a little more, but if you can get a deal, snag it. Shipping was fast, came UPS, and was packaged very well. Upon opening, I discovered that in fact, the rollbar had a harness bar!! Great, now I don't have to have down time to get a harness bar welded on! So all in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you Taylor for all the help and Rspeed for hiring a great and knowledgable salesman.

sweet, are you installing it as we speak?
Steve- No, but this weekend hopefully, weather permitting. It's here @ work, staring at me from the corner while my car sits out in the parking lot :(

Jess- I'm not too worried as I have a new finish panel sitting @ the house, the one in the car is rusted. I'll cut up the old one and then use it as a template.

Lihn - told ya :p HDHCDD4HT

Taylor- Thanks again, I'm gonna have to visit the store when I visit my sister in Atlanta sometime soon. And I agree, what's w/ the avatar?

I've been looking at the exact same roll bar, just dreading shipping costs. And I've had the Miata for 4 months now, and I still have yet to visit RSpeed, even though it's only about an hour away, which is why I didn't know they stocked them. Now I do. Guess I need to go up there and snag one.

When you install, be forewarned... I had to cut an extra inch, maybe an inch and a half MORE than the directions say to on the rear parcel shelf. No clue but my bar sits back much further than jdmeg2's HDHCDD (he thinks his is a HT version).
I had the same problem installing my bar this past weekend. I cut out what the directions said and I ended having to go back and cut out more. So be generous when you make your cuts.

Did you get that bar in yet? How bout some pics!! \(^_^)/
Weather permitting, it may go in this weekend. Everytime I try to work on the car it's raining. Thanks to thunderstorms here in FL, I don't really feel like becoming a part of my car right now
