Having recently picked up an nb8b the one thing that bugged the hell out of me was that the beautiful black interior was somewhat ruined by the OEM white gauges with the red needles.

Luckily i came across revlimiter.net, and the more i read about Adam's work via reviews it went on the "must do soon, very soon" list on my fridge.

I had an idea but was unsure how someone all the way in another country could understand exactly what i invisioned and then actually create it to my expectations, So i emailed my idea across, which was to use the Warbird design which was my favorite from Adam's selection. (Though if i had an NA then the possibility of retro themed gauges would open up.) The only thing i wished to change to the Warbird was the Rev Gauge be created in a Teal, Similar to a high end jewelery brand. And the icing on the cake was to be a "Kellie & Co." logo printed above the needle. (Kellie is my better half.)

Quite promptly i recieved a reply with quite a few questions as well as an ACCURATE price. I stress accurate as this is a custom commision using new colors so many bussinesses would have felt comfortable overcharging and/or waiting untill the product is complete to state a price.

Now this may sound cheesy, But dealing with Adam has made me really appreciate being a part of the roadster community. We are very lucky to have parts and people who make parts who share the same passion for the roadsters as we do. I have had various other cars in which i was involved through forums and/or meets, and can tell you that this community is by far the most enjoyable.

Adam could have done half of the work he performed creating these gauges & to be honest i would have been satisfied, But as it seems he is not happy unless these things turn out perfect. So a big thank you to Adam @ revlimiter.net for everything from initial consultation to the packaging and shipping to Australia.

In true RevLimiter style here are some photographs of the installation process.

Since i failed at taking any in car complete cluster shots, I will simply post Adams photos to show the finished product.

& at night. (yes it really does look this good in person if not better.)

This bit really hit the spot for me. That's it exactly. I strive for perfection on every set I make. Thanks for posting this. It's one thing for me to say it. It's quite another for a customer to say it.

Enjoy those gauges! I had a blast making them.

Your welcome adam!

Turtle power indeed, I even popped a fresh raph out for that install, soon after he went back in the package.

ALSO, to people considering getting gauges, do it.

But if your going to get the tiffany warbirds consider changing the name to your OWN girls name as to avoid awkward arguments in car.
