I am currently lowered 12" F&R (GC+AGX) and have the stock 17x7 +40 with 215/40 tires. I want to keep the rims, but love that low offset look.
I ordered H&r spacers (15mm front and 25mm rear) This will bring the front offset to +25 and the rear to +15. I am already planning on rolling the fenders. Is there going to be any fitment issues here? I may have to go to a 205/40 or even a 195/40 (side note: i did not even know this size existed!)
Also, I have a set of 15x7 +30 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2. With the spacers I am looking at +15F and +5R offsets.... I am thinking i need to run 195/50's to clear.....
How much negative camber are you running in the rear?
My set up is 11.5", 7.5" width, +41mm offset, -2.4 camber, 225/35/17 and they barely clear. A 25mm spacer in the back seems like it will have clearance issues unless you go with more negative camber or a more narrow tire.
If I need to I will raise it up to 12.5", but will definitely be getting some negative camber in addition to the fender rolls... I am looking forward to test fitting in a few weeks...
how would spacers make your rims "the low offset look"? I mean the face is still going to be sitting on the outside lip and a low offset is going to give you more lip. spacers just make skinny rims skinny but pushed further out.
I'm on 16x8 +15 with 215/45/16 on my 05 MSM and I needed to roll and pull my fenders to avoid rubbing even on stock suspension. I haven't measured my ride height lately though. But I think its around 11.75 in the rear and 11.5 in the front and I still rub in the front on big bumps. But then again, I now have no idea what I am rubbing on since there are no marks on the tires. I think I might be rubbing the frame, I still need to look into that.
