drugs and spray paint

is soo f***ing awesome!

*jk about drugs, dont do em*

being unemployed with nothing to do, i bought a pack of cigarettes, some red bull, 4 cans of high temp paint, 2 cans of primer, sandpaper, masking tape, and stole 7 newspapers from the 25 cent machines.

this was the before product.

they team dynamics pro race from that shady fellow on criagslist who had 70 sets. the polished lip was hideous!!!

there werent any deformities on the wheels so they only needed to be scuffed up to let the new paint stick so i only used 400 grit sandpaper. with all these spokes REDBULL IS A MUST!

although spraypaint will guarantee a crappy looking job, it is important to prep and paint as best u can!

i used 2 coats of black primer, then 4 cans of high temp engine enamel at semi-flat black. a mask would help keep your lungs healthy but they are expensive, so try n keep concentrated!!! I believe I let each coat sit for like 5 minutes, because i would smoke a cigarette inbetween and that would be around 5 minutes for me.

the finished product

these were done the day before and left to cure for the night. ill take more pictures in the day time.

1 pack of cigarettes and 3 cans of energy drinks were consumed in this project which lasted 2 days

So are those are 16's then? They look great by the way. I did pretty much the same thing to my stock hollow spokes about 7-8 months ago and they still look awesome even though they are covered in crap from drifting in the rain all the time.
