I can't find (decent)tires to put on these things!
I've been looking for 205/40/16 everywhere. Something preferably without an XL sidewall so I can stretch it a little. Discount Tire can't get any BF Goodrich G-Force Sport or KDW's because they are discontinued. Falkens are shit along with a number of other tires. Any other options out there!? |

Unless hub rings are aluminum they do nothing. the 60 degree conical seats of the 4 lugs center the wheels. The only negator of this would be aluminum or steel hub rings, and one or more lug holes or studs being out of place. In that case plastic hub rings would crack and not serve their purpose.
I'm ranting because I bought a pair before brushing up on physics or even thinking logically for that matter. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake |

I forgot to update, but I ended up going with 205/40/16 BF Goodrich G-Force Sport. The wheels and tires have been sitting in my living room for weeks now. I had an issue with my coilover install so I have to fix that before the wheels go on.

16's would be ideal for NB. 15's would be best for NA fitment wise. You will have to look into finding a set in your area yourself. Best to go to the main car forum in your area and go on from there.

It doesn't matter if these are put on with or without coilovers. If they fit, they fit. Simple. Please clarify what generation miata you have to make it easier for the people to help and look through this thread and i am sure it will help you. There are many examples to look at. |
